Calgary Stampede Grandstand Screens
2023 - Present:
Promosa provides a 33’ x 23’ hanging 6MM LED wall, flown from the Grandstand which acts as an IMAG screen for the rodeo, chuckwagon and evening events hosted in this 17,000 seat venue. Promosa’s team works closely with the stampede engineering team to ensure this 5,000lb screen can be hung safely in an outdoor environment. In 2021 we added two mast-stand trailer screens to the field, which allowed for greater visibility and flexibility of screen location as well as enhanced opportunities for sponsor recognition.
2017 - 2023:
Much more than a ten-day long celebration with midway rides and bucking broncos, the Calgary Stampede is a gathering place that hosts, educates, and entertains visitors from around the world.
We began working with Calgary Stampede in 2017, contracted as stage and hospitality managers for three of the largest stages on park: The Coca-Cola Stage, Nashville North and The Big Four Roadhouse. In 2018 and 2019 our scope expanded to include show and venue management for two additional venues. The Monster Energy Compound featured world-class Freestyle Motocross athletes and the Nik Wallenda Thrill Show. The Stampede Corral featured the Canine Stars, Dundu - Giants of Light, and America’s Got Talent finalists Light Balance.
In addition to our stage and venue management, Promosa provides the 6MM LED video wall for the Grandstand infield.
